Dove Cottage
Steeped in local history the area was the centre for smuggling, with illicit goods stored in a building called the Chantry, built in 1329, just near Kilve Beach.
Dove Cottage is a pretty, 400 year old terraced cottage, to the front is a very small stream crossed by a stone bridge. Outside the cottage there is a paved area with ferns and hanging baskets. At the rear there is good parking leading through a picket gate to an enclosed lawn and patio. The pretty garden is south facing and has sun most of the day. As soon as you enter the hall of Dove Cottage, with its deep window seat full of cushions, the stylish cottage has a warm welcome.
